Where signs of the past such as petroglyphs tell tales of ancient tribes. Where the remnants of old homesteads, and mines talk of how those with iron-willed perseverance scratched out a hard living. Our expert guides will take you through areas where geological features such as deep canyons and cut by eons of water and wind and spires of rock that form images of beings of that only mind can conjure.

Experienced Guides

At Wild Idaho Expeditions, our guides have spent years exploring the remote backcountry areas of Idaho, possessing decades of experience off-roading on motorcycles, 4x4s, and UTVs, as well as in backcountry exploration. They have intimate knowledge of the terrain and will take you to secret sites and places few people have ever seen. You'll have a unique opportunity to experience hidden gems of Idaho beyond the reach of most visitors.

Minimalistic Fun

On our multi-day expeditions, ‘run fast and run light’ will be the name of the game. Each day will end with you set up in a primitive camp site where hot food and talk of the day’s ride will be shared over a fire. You can either roll out your bedroll or hang your hammock and sleep under the stars. In the morning, our guides will wake you and prepare breakfast, serve a hot cup of coffee or tea. After breakfast, there will be briefing on where the trail will go next. There will be a call out to get packed up, buttoned up, machines checked and ready to go. Once all are set, it will be off for more fast paced fun!
